Get to Know Us

We are Zack & Shavonne - The faces behind "The Duo". We’ve loved cameras and storytelling since we were teenagers, but it was film school that brought us together. We met at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, where studying film side by side turned into a relationship built on creativity, teamwork, and shared vision. We graduated together with our Bachelor of Science in Film.

After college, we explored different creative paths, but filming our first wedding together changed everything. Capturing a couple’s commitment through the lens of our own partnership felt natural and it showed us exactly where we were meant to be.

From Film Degrees to Wedding Storytellers

We’re a full-time wedding photo and video duo, and weddings are truly where all of our attention lives. We don’t split our time between different industries or side projects - our focus is fully on showing up well for our couples and telling their stories with care.

Because we’re a couple ourselves, we understand how meaningful and emotional this day can be. We take time to really get to know you before the wedding, so when the day arrives, it feels comfortable and familiar. No awkwardness, no forced moments - just a team you trust, documenting your day as it unfolds.

We work side by side, in sync from start to finish, creating photos and films that feel honest, intentional, and timeless - so you can stay present and enjoy every moment.
