Get to Know Us

We are Zack & Shavonne - The faces behind "The Duo". We’ve loved cameras and storytelling since childhood, but it was film school that brought us together. We met at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, where studying film side by side turned into a relationship built on creativity, teamwork, and shared vision. We graduated together with our Bachelor of Science in Film.

After college, we explored different creative paths, but filming our first wedding together changed everything. Capturing a couple’s commitment through the lens of our own partnership felt natural and it showed us exactly where we were meant to be.

Meet shAVONNE

I grew up in Fort Myers, Florida and from a young age I loved movies. At the age of 13 I wanted to learn how movies were made and if that could be a career path for me. I bought Filmmaking books and started researching and learned that I wanted to be a director. I was a part of multiple Film classes and film clubs through middle school and high school. Plus I even flew around the country with my fellow film club to National Film Conventions to compete against different High schools in the United States for timed film competitions. Even coming in 3rd for one of my categories against 200 others. Junior year I researched that I wanted to go to a Film school in Orlando, where I would eventually meet Zack!

My favorite Hobbies are Cooking, partner dancing, weight lifting, and playing video games.

My favorite game of all time is Bloodborne! And some other favs are The Bioshock series, Assassin Creed Games, and Fortnite!

Meet Zack

I grew up in Northampton, Massachusetts, and started learning and picking up cameras at the start of high school. One of my first real experiences with video production was working on “The Transcript,” our student news broadcast. It featured interviews and news happening around the high school, and every student would watch it every Friday morning. I worked as a videographer for the program while also taking documentary classes.

A lot of my time in high school was spent in the film room—either taking classes, working on projects, or just hanging out and learning more about filmmaking. That’s where my passion for cameras and storytelling really started to grow.

After high school, I decided to pursue film more seriously and moved to Orlando for film school, which is where I eventually met Shavonne. That’s where both of our paths came together and ultimately led to what we’re doing today.

Outside of filming, some of my favorite hobbies include watching football (I’m a Carolina Panthers fan), golfing, playing video games, and the occasional pickleball.

We are a full-time wedding photo and video duo, fully dedicated to our couples and the stories we get to tell. Weddings are not a side focus for us - they are our entire world, and we approach every celebration with intention, care, and purpose. With professional film degrees and years of hands-on experience, we bring a trained cinematic eye to everything we create. All of our editing is done in-house, allowing us to maintain a consistent, true-to-color style and ensure every photo and film reflects our standard from start to finish.

As a couple ourselves, we understand how personal and emotional this season of life is. That’s why we take time to genuinely connect with each couple before the wedding day, so when the moment arrives, it feels natural, comfortable, and real. We don’t just show up to document your wedding - we show up as a team fully invested in preserving it honestly and beautifully, with intention.
